Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application – VILEA
Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application (VILEA) is a scientific and technological organization specializing in the field of elevators and escalators. The Institute has been licensed to operate by the Ministry of Science and Technology since 2021 and is a specialized unit under the Vietnam Elevator Association. VILEA focuses on conducting scientific research, applying and transferring technology; providing technical consultancy; training and fostering human resources; and developing programs to gradually standardize professional competencies for elevator technicians. Through the linkage model between Institute – School – Enterprise, VILEA's training programs combine professional knowledge with practice on equipment and actual work, helping trainees improve their skills in installation, maintenance, repair, operational management, and ensuring elevator safety. Besides training activities, VILEA also promotes cooperation with software enterprises to gradually develop and implement elevator management applications such as ESA, LiftCare, etc., into practice, aiming to gradually achieve autonomy and enhance the management capacity of the Vietnamese elevator industry.
